These digital multimeters combine several picoammeters in a single device. The base unit in a 19" case can be equipped with up to 8 pA meter modules. The modular design allows for adding or replacing components at any time.
The pA meters can be used for detecting ions, tuning ion optics systems, or monitoring the operation of ion sources. They are galvanically isolated and can measure output currents provided by the voltage sources AMPR. Their large dynamic range allows for precise sensing of weak currents lower than 1 pA as well as measurements of large currents of ±100 μA.
